8th grade!  Here we go!! Literature: Due Monday You need to bring a copy of your favorite childhood book to class with you on Monday.  Come prepared to read it to a small group and discuss it. English: Due Monday (Tuesday for 8th Period) You need to discuss your name with your parents or family members. You need to answer the following in complete sentences:  How did you come to be named? Who made the decision about your official name? What nicknames do you have? What names do you like or dislike and why? If you could pick out your own names, what would you select? What does your name mean?
